Paul Johnson III, CPA is one of the founding shareholders of the firm, and is the senior shareholder who has overall responsibility for services to the firm's clients. He concentrates his practice in tax, and governmental and not-for-profit auditing. He has been practicing public accounting since 1976. Mr. Johnson also holds a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Governmental and Not-For-Profit Accounting and Auditing awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
Paul is licensed in Tennessee and Georgia, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Brian T. Wright, CPA is one of the shareholders, and concentrates his practice in the governmental and not-for-profit audit areas. He has consulted with and audited governments under the Uniform Guidance and the Single Audit Act since 1987. He also holds a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Governmental and Not-For-Profit Accounting and Auditing awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Brian received a BBA from Middle Tennessee State University in 1983 and is a Deacon of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church. Brian and his wife Lisa have three children; Lauren, Lindsay and Sam, and his interest include Tennessee Athletics.
Jennifer Waycaster, CPA is one of the shareholders, and focuses her practice on Governmental and Not-For-Profit audits. Jennifer is Licensed in Tennessee and Georgia and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jennifer and her husband Nick have two children. She is a dedicated Georgia football fan and loves taking annual trips to Disney World.
Marianne Greene, CPA is the Tax Manager with public accounting experience in the tax and accounting services since 1990. She prepares federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, trust, and partnerships; as well as informational returns for not-for-profit organizations. She also Provides tax planning and research services.
Marianne is licensed in Tennessee and Georiga. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Acountants.
Marianne received a BBA degree from the University of Georgia. She is the proud mother to her three children; Nathan, Hannah Faith and Trinity.
In her free time, Marianne enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs.
Karen Hutcherson, CPA is the tax professional with diversified accounting and tax experience in public accounting since 1980. This experience involves preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individual, corporate, trust, and partnership clients, and informational returns for not-for-profit organizations.
Rachel Cook is our staff member with diversified experience in auditing and tax return preparation. She is experienced in governmental and not-for-profit audit report writing. Ms. Cook also assists us in the preparation of individual, corporate and partnership tax returns, and prepares informational tax returns for various not-for-profit organizations.
Stuart Johnson is part of our governmental and not-for-profit audit team, and also assist in tax preparation. He is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Stuart is a graduate of The McCallie School and received a BBA from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a dual concentration in Finance and Internal Audit before taking graduate classes at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.
In his free time, Stuart enjoys Tennessee Athletics and spending time on Chickamauga Lake with his friends and family.
Audrey Nord is a staff accountant and a part of our governmental and not-for-profit audit team. She is also responsible for the firm and partnership financial reporting. Audrey is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Audrey graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BBA Degree in Accounting from Columbus State University, in Columbus, Georgia in 1997. After a career in the banking industry and living in Asia for 12 years, Audrey relocated to Signal Mountain and began her non-profit accounting work in various volunteer roles and as an accountant in the local Chattanooga conservation field. Audrey joined the firm in November 2019.
Audrey and her husband Tom have two teenage sons, Grant and Henry. Together, they love to go tent camping, spend time outdoors, and travel internationally.
Carleen McBurnett is the office manager for the firm. She is married to her husband Bernie.
Carleen received a B.S. Degree from the University of Alabama.
