Paul Johnson III, CPA is one of the founding shareholders of the firm, and is the senior shareholder who has overall responsibility for services to the firm's clients. He concentrates his practice in tax, and governmental and not-for-profit auditing. He has been practicing public accounting since 1976. Mr. Johnson also holds a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Governmental and Not-For-Profit Accounting and Auditing awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
Mr. Johnson is licensed in Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Brian T. Wright, CPA is one of the shareholders, and concentrates his practice in the governmental and not-for-profit audit area. He has consulted with and audited governments under the Single Audit Act since 1987. He also holds a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Governmental and Not-For-Profit Accounting and Auditing awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Wright is licensed in Tennessee, and Georgia, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Wright received a BBA from Middle Tennessee State University in 1983 and is a Deacon of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church. Brian and his wife Lisa have three children; Lauren, Lindsay and Sam.
Karen Hutcherson, CPA is the tax manager with diversified accounting and tax experience in public accounting since 1980. This experience involves preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individual, corporate trust, and partnership clients, and informational returns for not-for-profit organizations.
Ms. Hutcherson is Licensed in Tennessee and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Ms. Hutcherson graduated Magan cum Laude with a BS degree from the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga in 1976.
Karen and her husband Joe have two adult children.
Marianne Greene, CPA assists us in the preparation of various individual, corporate trust and partnership tax returns. She also prepares informational tax returns for various not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Greene received a BBA degree from the University of Georgia. She is a member of the AICPA and the Tennessee Society of CPA's.
Marianne and her husband Chris have three children; Nathan, Hannah Faith, and Trinity.
Rachel Cook is our staff member with diversified experience in auditing and tax return preparation. She is experienced in governmental and not-for-profit audit report writing. Ms. Cook also assists us in the preparation of individual, corporate and partnership tax returns, and prepares informational tax returns for various not-for-profit organizations.
Ms. Cook is a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan, and is married to her husband Mandel.
Joan Bowers is the office manager for our firm, and has been with us since the firm's inception in 1980. She is married to her husband Boyd and has three children. Her interests include travel, walking, and reading.
Sandy Wells is a part of our governmental and not-for-profit audit support staff, and is also in charge of our client bookkeeping services. Ms. Wells assists and trains our clients is the use of Quick Books accounting software, and performs write-up and payroll services.
Ms Wells is married to her husband Gilbert, has two children, and enjoys traveling.
Debbie Tanner is part of our governmental and not-for-profit audit support staff, and also assists in bookkeeping and tax preparation services. She is married to her husband Ron, and has a daughter named Lauren.
Ms. Tanner's interests include travel and Tennessee football.
